ANiNATH talk

Some months ago, a group of people came to explain how important transplants are. Over these two weeks the same people will be coming into school week to talk to the students in Primary again.
ANiNATH is an association that helps people that need transplants. They showed us a video about children that have had transplants when they were very young, they explained how they felt. Did you know that one person can save up to 8 lives?

They talked to us about taking organs from other countries and how much time an organ can be outside the human body. They also showed us a video about a box that restarts the heart and a picture of a machine that helps to do surgery. We learned a lot and it was really interesting.
