Oak House students start learning English from their first day at school. From nursery onwards, their teachers are native English speakers.
Therefore, students are taught integrally in English until Year 2, in which Spanish is introduced, followed by Catalan in Year 3.
The option of studying a fourth language appears in Secondary, when students can choose between learning French or German.
Oak House School is a member of the National Association of British Schools of Spain (NABSS).
At Oak House, students are prepared for Cambridge First Certificate (FCE), Advanced (CAE) and Proficiency (CPE) exams. These three qualifications are recognised worldwide as a guarantee of English professional and academic achievement.
Regarding students that choose French as a fourth language, we prepare them for the Diplôme d’Études en Langue Française (DELF), A1, A2 and B1 exams.
As for students that choose German, are prepared for the Start Deutsch 1 and Start Deutsch 2 Goethe-Institut official examinations.
Finally, all students who complete their studies at Oak House School are awarded with the Catalan C Level Certification.
