At Oak House School we are fully aware of and committed to the wellbeing and safety of our school community and we consider it essential to follow the current rules regarding visits to the school.
Therefore, due to the exceptional situation that we are facing, we regret to inform you that guided tours during school hours will not be held.
We are arranging small group tours on some Saturday mornings for families who are applying for spaces in year groups where places are available.
When places are available for the requested school year, your application will be evaluated. Applicants with a suitable academic level and behaviour record will be contacted by the Admissions Department and entrance exams will be scheduled (currently completed on-line). The Academic Board reviews the completed entrance exams, previous school reports and the information provided in the Changing School form. Families of students who meet the entry requirements will be invited to a meeting with the Headteacher and formally offered a place at Oak House School.
Pupils under the age of 7 are not expected to take entrance exams. Parents are asked to submit previous school reports and are invited to a personal interview with the Headteacher.
If there are no places currently available in your son-daughter’s year group, your application will be added to the waiting list. The Admissions Department will contact you when a place is available.
All the applications will be considered and included in the waiting list by date of registration. Once a place becomes available the application process is usually completed in 2-3 weeks. We accept applications and admit students during the school year.
Students applying for Bachillerato or IB Diploma are invited to take entrance exams as places become available. Exam sessions are held between February and July (subject to availability of places).
